Access to Beach and Lake Resort: The Beach & Lake is a small privately
owned Ayurvedic Resort, 8 kilometres south of Trivandrum International Airport.
Offering Therapeutic and Rejuvenating Ayurvedic programmes, the resort is nestled
between the Arabian Sea and the Parvathi Puthanar rivers, situated on an island.
On one side are the backwaters; bordered by a forest of coconut palms, a natural
habitat for 31 odd species of migratory birds. On the other side, a secluded
expanse of beach stretches 4 kms north to the lively beach of Kovalam.

ensuite bathrooms have individual verandas offering both the sea and lake views.

Ayurveda in Beach and Lake Resort: Ayurveda is a health science, the
oldest and most complete healing system known today. The word Ayurveda, derived
from 2 sanskrit terms, literally means: the knowledge of life. At the heart

These doshas are present in everyone and the predominance of one over another
determines ones body type and constitution. Balancing the three harmoniously

as its systems are more relevant than ever in treating the diseases of the modern
