THIKKOTI LIGHTHOUSE

The lighthouse, which overlooks Velliyamkallu the rock much dreaded by mariners - off Moodadi coast, was built after a shipwreck, the remains of which can still be seen here. The region around the Velliyamakallu rock is the transit home of migratory birds.
